Super Healthy Cooking Demos - Upcoming classes!

Shauna creates recipes focusing on plant-based nutrition for disease prevention. She will demonstrate how to prepare a variety of recipes and you will have a chance to ask nutrition and culinary questions while you eat. Up to date nutrition information based on the latest scientific research and recipe booklet included with each class.

Cost: Each class is $95, which includes a 2 hour demonstration with eating throughout the class, nutrition and culinary education and a recipe booklet.

Upcoming classes for 2017:

1. 'Client Favourites'
    Monday Feb. 27th from 7:00-9:00 p.m. OR
    Tuesday Feb. 28th from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

Recipes will include:
Warm ginger pear smoothie, apple pomegranate guacamole, sweet potato and peanut stew with lentils and kale, Singapore noodles with garlic ginger sauce, frittata with spinach and spiralized potato and homemade pecan turtles.

2. 'Power Bowls'
    Thursday March 9th from 7:00-9:00 p.m. (CLASS IS FULL) OR
    Friday March 10th from 11:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. (CLASS IS FULL)
    Thursday March 16th 12:00-2:00 p.m.

3. 'Classic Family Favourites'
    Monday March 20th from 7:00-9:00 p.m.

Recipes will include:
Hot almond milk cocoa with homemade marshmallows, The Ultimate Caesar salad, spinach ricotta cannelloni, homemade mac and cheese, baked honey lemon chicken, almond toffee shortbread squares (classic) and chocolate caramel toffee squares (updated).

4. 'Parent and Teen'
    This class is open for parents and teens, or either to come individually (please note-teens under 16 are half price)
    Sunday March 26 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. (CLASS IS FULL)

Recipes will include:
Apple pie smoothie, spiralized cucumber ribbons, homemade gnocchi, quesadillas, spinach ricotta cannelloni, puffed oven pancake, super yummy chocolate energy balls

5. 'Eat the Rainbow'
    Sunday April 30th from 7:00-9:00 p.m.
    Monday May 1st from 11:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. (CLASS IS FULL)

Registration Information:

- Each class is limited to 12 guests. Register early - spots fill up quickly.
- E-mail to check class availability.
- Once availability confirmed, Interac e-Transfer $95 to (please note teens under 16 are half price)
- Use the password 'What type of cooking demo is it?" Answer - healthy
- In the message confirm which class/classes you are signing up for.
- Payment must be received in advance with registration. Spots cannot be held without payment.
- Once payment is received, an email with confirmation and a receipt will be issued with all of the pertinent information to submit if you have third party insurance for Registered Dietitian or Nutritionist. The receipt will be for the full amount and indicate that .75 of an hour is 'nutrition education'.
- Payment is non-refundable. If you are unable to attend, please have someone come in your place.
- Gift certificates are available.
